Now we've arrived at the point where I can't keep procrastinating and have to get to why I made this blog in the first place: my book. Which leaves a very important question: What is my story?
Well, I've already said that I would be basing this book on one of my other works--this work to be exact--but I need a place to start. I'm going to be writing an outline of my story and posting it here later this week, just in case it would be helpful to anyone else or if anyone has any advice about where the story should go (ex. how it should differ from the short story or how it should stay the same). What I'm trying to say is to use the comments section! I would love to know who's following this blog and what kind of content you would like to see related to my book. I have some plans and a rough idea of what I want to do, but I would love input! No pressure, but please!
For now, I'll give a short summary of where the story is roughly set to go: Edith is a music student who runs into her dead grandma on her first day back to college. Madness ensues. Oh, and also there's a music box somewhere. I mean, that is the name of the story (also help me with better titles if you have any ideas, I don't think "The Music Box" is a great one for this story and the expansions I'm planning to add) so it might be weird not to have one in there...
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good week, and I'll catch you all next Friday! Buh-bye!
