Hey everybody! For those of you who don't know, my name is Brenna Ellen, and I'm a writer. I'm going to be using this blog to keep track of my writing progress while also keeping track of my life around writing. I'm also planning on using some posts to mess around with writing prompts I find interesting, and I challenge all of you writers to do them as well! I figured I'd start this out with a bit of an introduction. I am 24 years old, and I graduated with a BA in Theatre and Creative Writing from Minnesota University, Mankato in 2019. I love writing and storytelling, and I'm excited to explore different genres and mediums of writing. I love short stories, plays, screenplays, etc., but right now I'm working on my first novel. It's going to be based upon one of my short stories (which you can find on my writing sample page if you want to read it :) ), so it's going to be a horror story. I've also added a forum to this website, which I think I'll use for putting prompts for my writers out there who want to practice. You are also welcome to start your own topics and start discussions about the things that are important to you! My hope is to start a little community here where we can exchange ideas and maybe even find new friends! If you have any questions, go ahead and put them in the comments down below!
